I- Keyword Phrase Selection and Research - working with the business owner, we select keyword phrases that an online shopper would type in to find your products or services.  We remove KW’s with low US monthly search volume.
 
After finalizing the keyword list we start the On-Site and On-Page SEO.  The on-site SEO will allow Google and Bing (Yahoo is now part of Bing Search) to accept your site as a predominate player with the selected phrases.
 
II- On-Site and On-Page SEO
o All images get Alt-tags with the keywords - this is the wording that shows when you hover over an image
o Meta Data added to each page with the keywords - historically search engines looked at this and often overlooked but still should be included
o H1 and H2 html tags added to pages with the keywords - this tells the search engine that this is the subject and the sub-subject of the page
o On-site Cross links from one page to another with the keywords - tells the search engines that your keywords are in various locations on your site
o Bold and color some of the keywords on pages - tells the search engine that these keywords are important information on the page
o Anchor Text (Extremely Important) -an html tag that places the reader exactly at the point on the page for the keyword - we build all of our inbound links with the anchor keyword in the URL.
o Confirm Robots “Do Follow” settings are correct in the Robots file on the site - telling the search engines to check all pages on the site and include them in its search results
o Confirm site map is compatible with Googles site map requirements and that all pages are included in the site map
